Prayer Ministry

What is the Grace Prayer Ministry?

Prayer is an essential part of our walk with God and with our church community at Grace.  It is God’s desire that we “pray without ceasing.” (1 Thess. 5:17)

The mission, therefore, of the Grace Prayer Ministry is to:
 

• pray as Jesus taught us

• share the power of prayer in our lives

• listen and respond to God in prayer

 

Prayer Chain Guidelines

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.   (Col 4:2)

As disciples in Christ our mission is to reach out to those in need.  One way we do this is through prayer.  We would like to provide with you with some guidelines for requesting prayers on the Prayer Chain, With respect for people’s privacy, we never want to share information that the person for whom we’re praying does not want shared.  

• If possible, ask permission from the person you are putting on our prayer chain.

• Without permission, we will not use any identifying information, but of course, we will still pray.  Don’t worry, God knows their situation, and will hear our prayers.

ACTS 4:24 reads…”When the rest of the Lord’s followers heard this, they prayed together.”  As a congregation, each day at 4:24, let us take a moment to pray. We're asking for pray-ers - at home, work or school -to stop and devote a few minutes to collective prayer.  Set the time in your phone or on your calendar.  Let us come together as the body of Christ and lift our prayers to God, our Father who loves us. As Christians, we are called to trust God, share His love and pray.
