DID YOU KNOW...

Grace Lutheran Food Pantry has been operating with 100% volunteer staffing and no government funding for nearly 50 years in downtown Springfield.

In 2022 we served over 7,000 households and over 17,000 individuals last year.

100% of the profits will be used to purchase items that will be distributed to people in need in the Springfield area.

10% of our clients are homeless, 20% are over age 55, and 40% are under age 18.

Grace will be hosting its third golf outing to "Drive Out Hunger" and raise funds for the Grace Lutheran Food Pantry on Sunday, September 10th, 2023.

In 2021 fifty-two golfers came out on a 90-degree August afternoon to support the Grace Lutheran Food Pantry's first golf outing. The event raised $7,000, enough to fund purchases of food and personal items for Food Pantry clients for about one month. We hope to do just as well this year or even better.

Event Schedule:

The day of the Event will be Sunday, September 10th, 2023 at Piper Glen Golf Course in Springfield, Illinois. The day will start off at 12 noon with registration and a box lunch. At 1:00 pm golfing will begin with a Shotgun Start Scramble Format/4-Person Teams and a new Putting Contest.

Golfer Registration:

Foursome $400 : Price Covers 4 golfers, green fees, carts, and box lunches.
Individual $100: Price Covers Green fees, shared cart, and box lunch.

Sponsor Registration:

Sponsorship opportunities are available at the $1,000, $600, $200, and $50 levels.
